There are an estimated 35,000 people living with Secondary Breast Cancer in the UK. Today is the only day which represents these Men and Women.

For years the focus in October has been on primary breast cancer and of course it is very important to self-check for early dedication of breast cancer. However many of the Signs & Symptoms of Secondary Breast Cancer are not related to self-checking.

Of the 55,000 women diagnosed annually with breast cancer, 30% will go on to receive a secondary diagnosis. In around 5% of women, breast cancer has already spread by the time it is diagnosed. Secondary Breast Cancer kills 31 women everyday!

We need to start talking about the facts. More people need to be aware of Secondary Breast Cancer.

The Men and Women with Secondary Breast Cancer are more than just their disease - they are grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and friends.

We must raise awareness of Secondary Breast Cancer so more people are aware of the Signs & Symptoms for early detection.
