Has your treatment line changed since you completed SBC & Me last year?

I am on the same treatment as at diagnosis 25 months ago.

How many changes to treatment have you had?

Still on first line

How are you coping?

Generally well

Do the side effects affect your life daily?

Yes - considerable joint pain and fatigue because of drugs.  My nails are like paper and I have lost about 2/3 of my hair

Have you found a routine that works for your everyday life?

I front load the physically demanding tasks as I am exhausted by the late afternoon

Do you feel anything is missed when it comes to living with secondary breast cancer?

Missed by the medical community?  Mine have been very good

There are certainly things I miss - mostly the limitations I have physically

Have you treated yourself to anything since your diagnosis?

A mesh hair integration system! Expensive but lovely 'new' hair that has massively improved my confidence

Has it changed your perspective on life?

Yes.  I try to value small things more and see every day as more previous than before.  I am actually grateful for this - a silver lining
