We've had an incredibly exciting and busy year for our support services as they continue to grow and meet the needs of the community. In 2023 we have delivered:

106
attendees at our 2nds Together wellbeing retreats

12 Tea & A Chat groups around the UK
1300 '2nds Together' private group members
432  littlelift boxes sent
334 Little Book of Admin sent
348 Birdsong yoga attendees

Our first event of 2023 was the online 'Wellbeing Week' in February with the focus on Menopause and its impact on those living with secondary breast cancer.  Our guests included nutritionist and author of 'The Natural Menopause Method', Karen Newby, and Jennifer Young, founder of Beauty Despite Cancer.

In March we travelled to Leeds for our Spring Get Together. Our community members joined us for a lovely afternoon tea & chat!

Next came the first of two consecutive weeks at Blairmore Farm, Crieff, in May for our first Scottish retreats of the year.

We treated 32 community members  to the joys of the working farm.  A beautiful 2 retreats with amazing company.

We're back there in 2024 and cannot wait!

August saw us visit Rainhill, Liverpool, for the second year for the next of our retreats.

35 community members enjoyed a few days with great food, activities and company.

September brought the final retreat of 2023 when we visited Castle Bromwich, Birmingham.

35 community members enjoyed the historic venue & grounds, brilliant food and wellbeing & craft activities.

In October we joined forces with Future Dreams charity & Secondary Sisters again for our annual Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day event in London.

Over 80 community members joined us to share the importance of the day with each other alongside a memorable photo booth.  A lovely afternoon to celebrate each other on what can be a very difficult day emotionally.

We also hosted a few special Breast Cancer Awareness Month Tea & Chat group sessions in October to great success.  We visited Hereford, Belfast, Lincoln & Edinburgh. Not forgetting a fabulous event hosted at Jennifer Young Headquarters.

Let's not forget our Tea & Chat Live groups around the UK!  In 2023 we launched 4 new groups bringing our total to 12.

We have much more to come in 2024 and can't wait to share all our plans with you all very soon.
