We're delighted to be joining forces with the Karen Henderson Legacy Fund and local patients, to establish a regular monthly, in person, TEA & CHAT meet up group for secondary breast cancer patients in Edinburgh.
The group is hosted by local patient, Lorna McNaughton.
Our support groups give patients the chance to share experiences and advice, and forge new friendships.
Our meetings take place on the second Tuesday of each month 11.15am - 1.15pm.
Morningside Parish Church, 2 Cluny Gardens, Edinburgh EH10 6BQ
The venue is central for buses/bypass and there is on street metered parking (use of disabled badges)

"I was diagnosed straight to secondary breast cancer in January 2022 at the age of 41. That year was a blur between chemo, surgery, radiotherapy and then getting married but when I had time to breathe in 2023 I realised I needed some support. I attended another secondary breast cancer support group and through that was signposted to Make 2nds Count. I attended the tea and chat for a few years and was lucky enough to get a place on a retreat in 2024. When I was asked to take on hosting in 2025 I was delighted to.. I hate the thought of anyone feeling lost or lonely in their diagnosis. The group brings a safe space to talk, cry and laugh and our group chat is inevitable support for us all.. both in our cancer journey and general life."
